Spoke Circles

Spoke Circles are described as “Group support designed to help you purposefully engage with others, explore ideas, and clarify your life’s direction.” They meet all over NYC in interesting spaces like flower shops, meditation rooms, and laundromats. Each session has an umbrella topic discussed such as Desire, Anxiety, Motherhood among many others.

For their photos we wanted to be able to build out their website and social media and create the visual branding for Spoke. After the photo session, I was part of the art direction process by consulting with them to help make design choices with their website design. The logo, graphics, illustrations and overall look of the website were part of these choices and the end result is amazing! So happy for these ladies and all they are doing to make therapy more accessible.

I attended the desire group and felt so empowered by the vulnerability we were able to reach together. Something about sharing to a group of people I didn’t really know was freeing- it felt like there was an anonymity that existed and made the space safe.
