Lia Love Avellino, LCSW

Upon Lia’s new role as Director of Head and Heart at The Well in NYC, Lia needed a social presence. She has about 76 jobs (a few above the New York standard) and wanted a visual connection of them all.

We spent a lot of time thinking about how we could collide all of these separate worlds into one. Our main goal was to create visuals that could be accompanied by the information Lia urned to share with more than just her clients in the therapy sessions.

With three separate photo sessions, a lot of thinking and sharing of our ideas, we came to find the voice that was hers. We used watercolors for graphics as a play on the Rorschach Test, I taught her about instagram filters to keep her feed consistent and captured several different aspects of her life to convey who she is and what she so lovingly does. Along with the photos of her in both personal and professional contexts was a session with a couple intended to be used as original “stock” imagery to use for posts as well.
